I just had to laugh a little bit, when I thought of the whole stuff you brought to Finland Geli.... there wouldn't be much space left for me ;-)
Will be strange for me to speak German a whole weekend, because here in the lab we speak English most of the time, because there are so many international students. And also during going out (although this happens rarely) we often speak English since an American girl who a friend of mine got to know during her ERASMUS moved to Vienna now.
I'm so looking forward to meeting you (and also to the party Annika told me in her e-mail :-)))))

Yes, what a pitty that you can't come to Münster, Eleni!Imagine, now we will all have to speak "deitsch" to each other - otherwise it would really look strange to the surroundig germans! ;) Anyway, I hope we'll see you and your balcony set soon. I also wanted to buy something for my balcony - but the nice things are really sooo expensive! Maybe I will keep my dirty old and unsteady ones still for this season.
And sure we can bring the thing for your friend - and if it's more than 10kg, Jutta and me will put our stuff together in one little bag and it will work out.
Jutta, if you can't pick the thing up - because you don't have time or because it's too heavy alone, just tell me!
And Yvonni, also if it seem like Anna hasn't written anything here since..... well, don't know... a loooong time (bad, bad girl! ;) ) Yes, she is coming, as far as I know!
Sunny greetings from Vienna!
Hey girls!
Yesterday I was just thinking, only for the organisation: Is Anna also coming to Münster? I hope so ;)! I mean she has the shortest way!
Jutta, I will send you the mail-address of Annika, so you can speak about this ebay-stuff.
Hope, you are all fine, like me, cause spring is coming, jippie!

Hej girls!
Thanks for your good wishes, I've been without internet the last days, that's why I'm a little bit late.
I also realized today that it's only one and a half week until we'll meet. It's a pity that you can't come Eleni, would have been nice. But I hope I'll be able to test your balcony chairs once, so it's ok!
And of course I can take the thing for your friend, as long as it's less than 10 kg. You just have to tell me the details or you can give her my e-mail to tell me.
I hope, I'll have time to get it - just kidding, of course I have, but I start working tomorrow! At our university for almost no money but it fits perfectly with the subject I'll have in Greece and so it's something to do until then. I feel really strange now thinking of tomorrow because I haven't done anything usefull for such a long time.
So now it's time to go to bed, I think I should be awake tomorrow.

I hope that your Easter was more relaxing than mine because I had to work in the pharmacy every day. But my mood is good because the spring is finally coming and most of the snow has melt and days are getting longer and longer.
I'm sorry that I haven't told you before but I'm not coming to Munster. We are not going to France either but now I want to spend all my extra money for buying a nice table+chairs to our balcony. Otherwise I can't really use our warm, sunny balcony during the whole summer...
I hope you'll have mega-fun time at Ybovvn (I'm sure you will)!
Eleni - 17. Apr, 18:25
I also would like to wish you some nice Easter-days! Hope somebody will hide some chocolate eggs somewhere in the garden (and that it won't rain!!!), my mother is already speaking a lot about hiding eggs tomorrow!
I went home for some days, and my mother is really happy about having all her children at home for some days!
Ah, Geli or Jutta: A friend of mine bought something at ebay, and the seller lives in Vienna! Could you bring it (and pick it up???) with you when you come here (year, year, year, you are coming!) cause it will be really, really soon!
Geli, take some time off, think about it, or if you can find a job immediatly, perhaps you should try to work in a low office or something. I mean, if you don't like it you can change... Or make a around-the-world-trip ;)!
Happy Eastern!

hey girls!
I just realized that our nice meeting is coming closer and closer and I'm really happy about that!!
At the moment I'm a bit confused at home. Finally I have finished my studies, but what now ???? I was never sure if I really want to work in one of the classical law-jobs. In the last days I was changing my mind about what to do in my future quite often and now I'm still confused. What shall I be... Judge Geli K - and make stupid soap operas, or become and advocate like ally mc beal (?)?? Or better let all the law-stuff behind me and do something completely different - reaching from "event management" to "open up a nice little bar somewhere in Greece" ?
Well, I feel like in the same situation like after I finished school. The question is.. am I now wise enough to know what I want?? ... we’ll see.....
Other thing.... Eleni!! You know already if you get your free flight with jarno or can you also come to Yvonni and to Münster?
Looking forward to see you all... and wishing you a nice Easter weekend and a lot of DOROS!!! :)
Kisses
Year, Jutta, of course we will see in Greece then, and October is probably the best time to go to Greece! I think you can be sure that at least once we will visit you!
Last week we booked our Sweden-canoeing-trip, so great! Ok, finally it will be in July, but still! Holiday! I will really need, I mean, I would need it already now...
I don't know if I will really get it to finish my thesis till you will come, but at least I will have the whole text and so on, only the corrections have to be done then. So, no problems for a party weekend :)!
And it becomes more and more difficult to stay the whole day on the computer cause the weather gets better and better (Eleni, you really have still snow?). Ok, a lot of rain, too, but on the last afternoon there is always sun and we have around 10 or 15°. So I had already a lot of ice-cream :)!!!
Have a good start in the week!

Great, Jutta! For how long will you stay in Crete then? For some years? I'm happy for you! ok, of course it would be nicer if you could have come to Finland but in Greece it will definitely be a lot more exotic! And perhaps a bit more relaxing :) It will definitely be a lot of fun for you to see the Greek way of working in the laboratory :)
It's been really shitty & grey weather here. I wanna get rid of the snow. Soon! But, a good thing in bad weather is that it's a perfect day for going shopping!
Have a nice weekend!
Eleni - 1. Apr, 12:02
Hej girls!
How are you? Hope you are at least half as great as I am, because...
ta ta ta ta...
I will go to Crete and make my phd there! Actually I already know it for one week or so, but I couldn't realize it. Now it becomes more concrete, I found a professor who will supervise me in Austria, perhaps I also found a lab, where I can work until then - it will start in September or October.
The only last little problem is, that the university of my professor is not my university, so I have a different degree and have to run from offices to professors bla bla bla. It's really stupid because I think my technical degree should be at least worth theirs (I mean they have to do 170 Austrian credits and I had to do 210!). But I'm very confident that this will work out and if not, I can still make a Greek degree, the only problem is, that I would lose about one year, but would be one year more for you to visit me :-))))
So this were my great news.
CU soon. Filakia, Jutta

Year, girls, the spring arrived! Since Sunday we have sun, blue sky (ok, yesterday small thunderstorm, but don't mind) and it is around 20°... tralala! My mood is good (this was a rhym ;)!)...
Although I probably won't finish my thesis till my birthday... Don't mind about it, I like it more in the moment, to enjoy everything else except the thesis-stuff!
Hope you are also fine :)

THIS IS GONNA BE GRRRRREAT!! :)
Even the German trains are not the fastest, it won't take you 8 hours, Eleni, from Münster to Köln. Normally it is about 2 or 2 1/2, only at night perhaps a bit longer like 4 hours. I think, you can take a special ticket only for Northrhine-Westfalia which costs 21€, one way... Ok, trains are not fast, but expensive!
Would be great, Eleni, to have you here, too :)!
Have a nice week,
Yvonni
Ybovvn - 20. Mar, 08:17
Can Köln-Munster really be about 8 hours in a train? aaargh! I would die there! Now I hope that I just can't use bahn.de.
Eleni - 18. Mar, 23:21
Ok, now I can write here when I know that visiting Yvonne on her birthday is not a surprise for her... That's what I thought that the girls had planned :)
The thing is that the girlfriend of Jarno's brother is an air hostess for blue1 and she has some free flights that we could use. And we planned to go to France to visit friends of Jarno there. And they have holidays at the end of april in France. But I'm not sure If this whole France-trip will work at all, I may be difficult to get the free flight on the exact dates we would like to...
So, that's why I can't say yet If I can come or not. I would really, really like to! I've never really been to Germany (except for the Ryanair-airport and many hours at the railway station on Frankfurt on my way to Vienna) and it would be superb to see all of you!!!
Btw, how much would it cost to take a train (2-way) köln-munster? about?
Eleni - 18. Mar, 23:11
So great, girls!
I am so happy, we will have a great time!!! Even we will have only some day, but still: GREEEEAT!!! At least we will have a big birthday-party here, yeah! So, Eleni, you have to come!
Ybovvn - 17. Mar, 19:56
Hej girls!
Most of you know it already, but once again: Geli and me booked our flights!!! We'll arrive Friday the 28th of April at 18:35 (Münster airport) and we'll leave from Cologne the 1st of May, 18:35 again.
I'm sooo happy, at least I have one plan...
Eleni, I almost came to Helsinki. I was short-listed out of 140 candidates for a phd thesis, but finally somebody of the other 10 was better than me :-(((
Now I'm waiting for a call from Greece - Crete. Yesterday I talked to one of the professors already and he seemed to be interested in me, but he was not sure if he could take somebody. I hope the other one wants me - please, cross your fingers for me.
Filakia, Jutta
PS: Eleni would be so great if you came as well!!!!
