Are you Freezing? It's -20 degrees here so I try to avoid going outside...

I'm radioactive now. Twoday I swallowed the radiating pill and now I'll just wait how my thyroid reacts. I should avoid social contacts for some days now. I'm glad I have internet access!!! :)

Hope, you all had a nice New Years Eve! Mine was really nice, was at home at 7 (good old Greek times). Although I haven't been to the Greek-Food-Party. But finally I spoke with Jonas (the Cook) and he will do it again for me, so nice!
Yeah, and Schatzi... quite nice, even he is almost one year younger, but don't mind , and we met the first time in the total "Angrabschuppen" (a bit difficult ot explain in english, like a party place where people meet ;)!). But don't mind...

So, wanted to be a bit productive today, so enjoy the day

yes girls! i also hope you had a great silvester-night. seems like racelett is quite in at the moment... because thomas and me also invited some friends to his place to eat a lot of stuff.... but no greek unfortunately.... BUT... as desert we had chocolate-fondue!!! mmmmmh! which was really good!

The worst thing is: First I wanted to go to a party of a friend, but finally we (Schatzi and me ;)!) decided to go to a raclette-event. And yesterday I heard the friend of the other party prepared already a lot of food...only Greek! Moussaka, Keftedes, Tzatziki, etc... That's not fair :,(! Nice New Year's Eve! But Johannes prepared Sangria,... so hope the best...

But at least enjoy the night, hopefully we all can meet next year,

Thanks for the birthday wishes you sent me! Our housewarming-christmas-birthday-party last saturday went well. We had enough food & drinks (thanks to Yvonne & co) for all. We had about 20 guests and had a lot of fun.

Yesterday I came to my home town-home. It's looks really nice here because it's so much snow everywhere and there's more coming all the time. Nice :)

Anyway, I wanna wish all you a very merry christmas! Eat & sleep a lot! at least that's what I'm going to do...

For all of you who didn't join my end of study party (I'm sorry Eleni I didn't invite you because I already knew that you won't be able to come and I didn't make the invitation in English) there's a very short report.

It was really nice with approx. 60 people, a lot of food which I can't see anymore (since Saturday I behave like my grandmother - take some food with you, another 2 pieces of cake please, etc. I think you know what I mean. And I still have some pasta salad and tzatziki and bread and keftedakia and...).
For the first time after Sweden I left a bar when it was already light outside (actually I came home at half past 10 in the morning, so it must have been quite nice). And I don't know how many hours we danced, the good thing was that we could decide all of the music, so we played only our most favorite party songs.
But the very best thing was, that some friends of us made up a song (a Gstanzl, but I'm afraid only Geli will understand that word). It was really funny but I didn't realize before that I did so many embarassing things during my student time

You know what the rhyme for Griechen (Greeks) was? Die Österreicher die schiarchen (the ugly Austrians)! So now you know why I went to Greece

And we got a big cake (Sachertorte but really huge) which was decorated with figures made out of marzipan looking like we do, so nice (unfortunately I can't send you a picture because I forgot my camera at a friend's place. I helped him a bit to remove all the things of his flat because he's going to Switzerland and destroying things is so great, I really love hammers and saws etc. and had to take some pictures).
And finally we got so many nice and funny presents - unbelievable! I can only recommend to make a big party after finishing university - it's worth the stress and money!!!

Tomorrow I'll leave Vienna for going home for christmas and it's really time. I went out much too often especially since Christoph returned from Canada (he wanted to leave Vienna directly after our party on Sunday but now he stayed until today because we all had so much fun). I hope you all don't have too much stress now before christmas. Luckily I only have to buy some more presents and I know already what and where I'll get them.

hey, good to hear that you had fun in helsinki. Can imagine how nice it was. And finally it started to snow also in vienna this evening. thick, big snowflakes (??). lokks great! but I hope it's gonna stay here as well and not turn into a big, brown soup of dirt starting from tomorrow.

We had our yearly christmas-horse-riding show yesterday. It was really nice. And my group (I had to go as first and lead the whole thing) didn't make any mistake although the trainings have been really shitty - also only some days before the show. well, finally it all worked out perfectly and afterwards we had a lot of punsch and nice food. :)

but now... university is starting again, yes, also if it it christmas in 5 days, me, I have to go to university to my courses... pfui, pfui! That's why I also don't have any christmas-present... and siga, siga time is getting short.
well, hope I'm gonna make it at least till the 24th.... ;)

Good Morning!

Yeeeeaha, it snowed again in Germany. So funny, the whole time in Finlandia we waited for snow (although it was quite snowy outside of Helsinki!) and then I am back in Germany for one day and I wake up in the morning and everything is covered white. So: Hot cappuccino, Heart FM and switched on the Heater, and the Christmas feeling is perfect!

The Highlights of our trip to Helsinki: The dinner in the Greek taverna (???), at least it was an experience, girls, don't be jealous!, the sauna and Santa Lucia! And Eleni ;)! Was a great time, thanks Finnish girl!

I hope you all have a nice 4th Advent (english?), I think I will visit my parents tomorrow...

Like everyday I checked the weather in whole europe (to get a bit jealous...) and it said this morning: snow in Finland and snow in Austria! Nice for you, but I want some, too!
Yesterday I went to my tutor because of my thesis and she said it is fantastic how much I did already and that I would work so goal-oriented. And I only thought: What is she talking about? Cause I am the queen of mess I get the feeling! So I will be really nice to come out of town for some days next week!

And, Eleni, I know the feeling of doing nothing and get annoyed of it! But it will change when we arrive ;). At least the feeling of be bored...
