I just found out that you can buy Cider at IKEA in Austria! Unfortunately it's only pear and apple (I really loved the Skogbear Cider - what is it in English Eleni, cannot be "wood berries"???) but still I really missed cider after Sweden - jippieh!!!!

I'm just looking throu my holiday pictures from krete and there I found this... :)
I tried to make a cool pool... but as you can easily see.. alone it can never get so great like the one we did... ;)
Kalimera!
Can you imagine, that I slept until 1 today - great! Ok, I came home at 8 in the morning, but still, I'm surprised! I think the Swedish light summer had some effects on my sleeping habits. And I'm back in going out :-)
I had the problem of moving together only one time and I knew immediately that it was a bad idea. But if you didn't have this feeling, I think everything will be fine. It's not only with open marriage that most of them brake up some day, but also most of the married people do. I wouldn't think of it too much, just enjoy it as long as it lasts.
Eleni, if you ever saw Thomas' flat, than you would know. Geli, your new flat is really nice, but I've never seen such a great flat like the one of Thomas! It's amazing!!!
I'm in the same Greek mood like you Eleni. Actually since Sweden, I mostly listen to Greek music (me, who didn't like it...) and I also thought of looking for a phd in Greece. I don't know if you know Marie Curie, it's a scholarship from the EU for phd and you get quite a lot of money and if I would find something interesting in Greece, I would take it, I think. But also in other countries like Slovenia and Sweden.
By now I didn't search at all, I know I should, but I'm really longing for a break, by now my life was so straight - university right after school, with the only small break in Thessaloniki. The good thing is that I have some money left from Sweden, so I don't have to hurry too much, to find a job or a paid phd.
Ok, I'll go to a japanese tea ceremony now. A friend is going to Japan in one year and he is learning some things like the traditional tea ceremony and sword fighting and today he'll serve tea for the first time, I'm really interested how this is going on.

HI Gelitsaki and all the others too!
We haven't moved yet, we're still staying in my flat. We'll move at the end of October. I don't think that moving together will change a lot fo us cause we've already practically been living in my flat for half a year. It's just more official then, open marrriage :) That was the reason why I first hesitated, I didn't want to become an open wife and all the relatives are waiting for wedding then.... And If we'll brake up one day, it's a much bigger thing because of the flat. When I told the news for a friend of mine she said: well, you've already lost your indepence so what can change anymore?
Another friend of mine recommended to buy all the new things separately to avoid stupid disagreements of which furniture is Jarno's and which is mine. In case of braking up. It feels stupid to think now that what happens if we will brake up one day, but it's a cold truth that most of the "open marriages" won't last forever.
Are you planning of moving to your of Thomas's flat or finding a new one? Our new flat is only 500m from here.
It's great to do some decorating again! We have a small floor plan of the flat and we calculated the lenghts of all walls and have been planning the way to put out furniture. Yesterday we bought a sofa. It's dark grey and cool! Much better than my Ikea's klippan in which is horrible to sit with another person and another side just broke, it's 15 cm's lower than the other...
I downloaded some more Elli Kokkinou and Giorgos Mazonakis. I'm in Greece-mood now. Would it be possible to go there next summer all together? I want to!!!

hey girls!
eleni, have you already moved in in together with jarno now? Because by now I think that you are definitely doing a good thing with it. Because with me and Thomas it's a bit shit according to our flat-situation. my flat is bit by bit starting to be painted, furnished and ready to host me and my cats again. till now so for about 3 months I have been living together with thomas, in his flat - and also with the cats ;).
I really liked it. It was everything so easy, no appointments, no "ok, where shall we stay tonight now?", no "I have to go to my flat first to get this and that"... everything easy.
now it's starting to get complicated again... going shopping for two households, having cloths there and there,... PFUI!!!
yesterday we also talked about if it wouldn't be nicer and easier to simply move together completely.
well, nice idea on the one hand but what if you also want to have some time alone once in a while?? "please baby, leave the flat for some hours". can not be it, hm?
well, eleni, you have to tell me how it is going in your flat, then I will decide for our situation.. :)
kisses
Jutti, I understand that you are feeling relived now. I just came from an exam, which is only 3 ects's, and po po I'm relieved! Today I'll just relax!
Jutti, have you already been loking for a job? I mean, when you will, could you try to arrange to have 11.-15.12 free and come here with Yvonne? Though I know it's a bit enbarrasing to ask: hi, do you have a job for me and by the way, I won't work on these days...
I haven't told you yet: I'll go to Copenhagen in November! My mum wanted to go there to visit Elina but she hasn't ever been abroad and she doesn't have the courage to do it herself, so I offered to be her personal guide if she pays my flights :) Huraa!
I'm happy and I hope you are too! :)

Hej girls!
I can't tell you, how stressful my life was in the last time, but finally I finished my thesis today (93 pages and I'm quite confident with it) and I had my last exam today! Ok, not the very last, but a friend of mine had her diploma exam last week and it's really not such a problem any more. The last weeks were horror, if I didn't write I had to learn (4 exams in the last two weeks) and I was really looking forward to doing nothing, but now I'm already bored *g*. So I wanted to wash my dishes (unbelievable I didn't do it in the last 2 weeks, but for my defence, I also didn't cook a lot and ate only shit, where I didn't need any plates or anything), but I don't have any dish-washing detergent and it's already to late to go shopping - po po :-))))
I just wanted to tell you, I'm glad to be back to life! I mean I almost didn't go out since I'm back from Sweden (and there neither), so when I went out once last week and drank three "spritzer" (white wine with mineral water), I felt really very funny already.
Eleni I wish you the best for your flat with Jarno, but I'm sure it will be great. And it really would be stupid to pay for two flats if you always spend your time together.
And Geli I'm really looking forward to your new flat and that it is a tiny little bit nearer to mine *g*.

sounds great and will be definitly a lot of fun to call you "jarno's open wife" from now on...
Kisses
I've got some news for you: me and Jarno decided to move together. We spoke and thought about it a lot, mostly because I was afraid about what happens if we will brake up then. But practically we've been living together for a half a year now, in my flat. So I don't think that it will change a lot. And it would be stupid to pay rents of 2 flats because we are most of the time together.
In Finnish I'm called open wife then. Great! I will hit if someone calls me like that! And our relationship is called open marriage...
We will move at the end of October, and the flat is great! We'll have an own sauna in the flat and the balcony is big. Yvonne will see it in December!
Hope I didn't cause you a heart attack :)

hi girls. sorry for not being here for a loooong time. But the time I spend at home in the moment are around 7 hours a day. and these hours I'm sleeping. The rest of the days, which are passing by so dam quickly at the monet, I am still working in my new flat or I'm driving to Krems to take care of my horse or I'm at the university.
But the good thing is. my flat is getting more and more furnished! Which means... maybe one day I will also be able to really move in there finally. :) I think when all the work will be done it's really gonna be nice there. But now.... still really exhausting!! And then also the university has already started. I'm obviously not yet studying and so also there I'm a lot behind. But whatever... the weather in vienna is really great at the moment. Just as summer should be.
About the winter holidy... I fear I will also not be able to make it. I'll have my last exam in january, as it looks and this is gonna be a biiiig one. ;) Really sorry for that babes.
Promise to try to appear here more often again. ;)
kisses!!
I am sorry, Eleni, that I won't be there for you birthday, that would have been really cool, but I think we can make a lot of party together, so it will compensate it, I suppose :)!
And I am really looking forward for it. Would be cool if the other girls can also manage it!
This should also be a small good-bye, cause tomorrow my excursion will start (I become a bit melancholic in the moment, I don't know why!). I will be back in the beginning of October. But I think it is really not sooo long, anyway I have not so much stuff to take with me...!
A lot of hugs to all of you (see what I mean with melancholic!), hear from you soon...
