Ahoi!
Baaaaad news: Last friday I think, I deleted almost all my pictures. Jippie! I don't know, I wanted to burn my pictures and I did already a lot, but then, I wanted to fill another cd, I burned some more files to the cd. And: The ones I burned before were gone! Great, isn't it? So I think I lost half of my Saloniki-Pictures! But I hope that tonight a friend of mine will try to find them again. Because I deleted them already also from the rubbish bin! I hope he will find them!
So, hope you have better news...

Heh, no I didn't do the translations myself (my greek is a bit insufficient for that), I copied them from a Finnish web page. And I didn't get all of them either, but the ones I did, were pretty funny, I think. Ok, a bit insulting maybe, but anyway. My favourites are no:s 9 & 16.
Plaah, I will have a boring weekend. I will work both days. On the other hand, I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm not really in the mood of doing anything special or going out or something, but still I think that my life is super boring and nothing's happening. So I don't know what to do: Should I just force myself to do something even if I don't feel like it? Otherwise I'm afraid that I'll get even more bored...
Tonight I'll go skating. Let's hope that it will cheer me up.
Have a nice weekend!
Eleni - 19. Nov, 15:42
Before I tell other stories:
Eleni, where did you get the translations? Or did you create it by yourself? I have to say, some things I didn't get! Sorry!
So, now: Jutta! I was yesterday on a party of the psychology-party (short: psycho-party in the psycho-cellar!), and it was soooo great. Problem: I have a blocked seminar the whole day today. It started at nine!
After half an hour in the seminary, I am a bit hyperactive today, so spoke without break, the friend of mine who is sitting next to me said, that I would smell a bit. EMBARRASSING!!!!
Ah, but ti na kanoume??? Tipota :)!
Finally I stayed at the party till 4, and: it was snowing the whole night. For a (short) while we were dancing in the snow! It was so beautiful!!!
Hope, you will have snow in Vienna, too!

Hi girls!!!
I think I spent 10 000 calories yesterday only by SHAKING!!!! Great party, great fun, great music (they even played the Rasmus, luckily they started to play Rammstein after 2 o'clock, because I'm afraid otherwise I would still be there. But my neck -head-banging the whole evening, I've been to the hairdresser before and destroyed everything immediately. And I'm tired now.
Just wanted to tell you. Bye bye, Jutta

Yes, now we have it also! Finally I can do snow angels :) and it's not so dark outside anymore. The snow had come last night, and all the time it's snowing more and more. So cute!!!
Jutta, thank you so much for your Frankfurt- tips! It's good to hear that actually I don't have too much time to spend there.
Yvonne, don't worry about your Elsinski-trip. Let's just hope that you can change the flights and come as soon as possible.
Geli, good luck for your exam! My internet is working now, so goodbye studying, there are so many nice things to do in the net...
Eleni - 18. Nov, 13:54
Geia sas koritsia!
As I've been to Frankfurt several times this summer (only for my Greek lessons of course...), I know the city a little bit. The Ryan airport Hahn is quite far away from the city, but there exists a bus to the railway station and it takes almost 2 hours to go there. I found the timetable (even in English!!!), so you can look it up here:
http://www.bohr-omnibusse.de/en/service/routes1.php
The area around the railway station is quite ugly (like in every bigger city) with a lot of drug addicts but luckily also a lot of police. There's a big street going down from the station, the Kaiserstraße, where you can find a bunch of sex shops (I was really suprised how many sex shops exist in Germany, the number is amazing!!!) but also some nice cafes (for the better ones you should walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the EZB (the European Central Bank with a huge Euro sign in front of it). There you are in the middle of Main-hattan (how the funny little Germans sometimes call Frankfurt...*g*) but for me the scycrapers always have been quite impressing as well.
Today I'll go for my first "Glühwein" - jippie!!! Even if the sun is shining, it's damn cold and stormy, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Greekfreak - 17. Nov, 10:25
My cooking was great, more or less. Nothing looked like in the book, but my boujourdi was the best, but I did too less.
Eleni, I'm sorry, but I have never been in Frankfurt, only at the airport. But I can tell you: You will need the time to come to the railway station! The airport is in the middle of nowhere! We went once from this airport to Oslo and we missed almost the plane because we couldn't find this f*** airport! Have fun, I can tell you!
And Geli: Don't worry! Study hard now so we have a relaxed time when we are in Vienna! I am looking forward so much for it, cause I have also a lot of stress in the moment and x-mas is soon! Huuuaaaar!
So, have to relax now a bit during watching emergency room:)!
Have a nice evening,
Yvonni
Ybovvn - 16. Nov, 20:48
Hellooo
Yvonne, how did it go with the cooking session? I admire you, the only Greek food I've made is Greek salad... And I realised that at least most of feta cheeses they sell in Finland are bullshit. But: I can buy cheap Rainbow olives here and they are goood :)
We must go to this Greek restaurant in Vienna that Geli told about! yammie...
Btw, I passed the exam I told you about, and I got 3- (3 is the best)... ups.
My internet at home is still not working. They promised to fix it last week. Today I asked about it again and they told me that the guy who should do it, has been on a 2-weeks holiday and now he has to go to help his parents in some acrigulture-job... am I in Greece again?
Hey, I haven't told you yet, I've decided to learn to play guitar! Otherwise I will never be a rockstar :) Ok I don't have a guitar yet but I will buy it as soon as possible. I can't wait (and probably my neightbours neither...)
Not so many nights anymore until we will see eachother :) poli oreia! Yvonne, any ideas what to do in Frankfurt? I have to wait there 5 hours. Do you know if the Ryan Air airport is somewhere in the middle of nowhere there? Oh, and Yvonne, my sister told me that she's thinking of applying to Munster for Erasmus. Is she crazy?
Now I'll go for a movie. It's a swedish movie telling about teenager girls, I think I'll like it :)
See you soon, girls!
Eleni - 16. Nov, 16:53
buah.... It's horrilbe... my head is only full of fucking finance-stuff for my exam this weeek... that's also why I can't write you interesting stuff here.. I'm really sorry but my head is dead!
But at least this stupid exam is alreday this friday and I hope my brain will start to work after that again!
Hope you are all fine and Yvonnis cooking was a success! I already found out about a little greek restaurant in vienna which should be nice and authentic... (not as the last one where I'Ve been with my partens... they didn't even have greek waiters there!!!) so we have to check this out when you are here, ok? ... and this is gonna be sooooooonn!!! yeah!!
filakia
Jippie! Tomorrow we have a big family meeting and I have the pleasure to cook Greek. Today I already prepared Melitzanosalata (seems not very good to me in the moment!), Tzatziki of course, a garlic creme (also not the best!) and dolmatakia, which are quite good I think. Then we will make Boujourdi tomorrow, Feta skiti (is it right?), Moussaka, stuffed tomatoes and peppers, choriatiki, Imam, then we have a mixed grill plate, Kitharaki, Koulouri and we bought Halvas. My brother and I went to a turkish shop today (we have a lot here!) and it was so great because you can really find everything.
Have to go to bed now to be awake tomorrow for the rest cooking :)!

Kalimera koritsia! Geia sou Ybonnh!
It's nice for you that the sun is shining at your place, but here in Vienna it started to snow today. When I went to university there were nice snow flakes, very romantic!. But the people arriving a little bit later were completely wet, because it's windy like hell and there's a mixture of snow and rain coming down from heaven - BÄÄÄÄHHH!
Anyway, I'm fine, looking forward to Christmas market (it opens at the end of this week - jippie!), to your arrival, Christmas time and to the presumably reconciliation with my ex (I don't know when, but it's quite probable).
That's it from me, I have to go back to work and back to my studies (that's the good thing in the lab, that you have a lot of waiting time where you can study), can you see, I found my motivation again!!! And yesterday I also talked to my Greek teacher former affair on the phone and my Greek isn't too bad!!!
Filakia, Jutta
Greekfreak - 9. Nov, 09:46
Hey Jutta!
The weather is sooo nice (at least here in Germany) in the moment, don't worry!
Yesterday I went for a long walk through the landscape and it was so beautiful cause the leaves of the trees are so coloured and the sun was shining. Hach, great! So I could forget all other problems I have in the moment.
And that is good cause my horoscope for this week said that the bad mood will be gone and now good times will start. Not that I believe in horoscopes, but this is a nice one and I like to believe in nice things :)!
On thursday I will go to Cologne to celebrate the beginning of carnival. I don't have a nice costume yet, but perhaps I can do something with my pink tides? Good ideas are Welcome!!!
Ybovvn - 8. Nov, 10:51
Hi girls!
Do you know the best diet in the world??? When your boyfriend leaves you without a clear reason (it was always great, when we were together, probably that was the problem). I'm alone again and have no appetite for anything. Even 200 g of Belgian chocolate on my desk are safe from me!
Yesterday I went to a pub with my friends and it was like the playing bars in Thessaloniki, but with German game instructions! It was great, perhaps we can go there once. I'm looking forward to your visit!
Bye bye, Jutta
Greekfreak - 6. Nov, 11:58
Hey Helena!
Bad news: even I bought already my tickets to Helsinki, I don't know if I can come. I have a project seminary (the most important one more or less during my study) and now we have a blocked course on the 13th and 14th of January. I already miss one day when I come to Vienna!
I think to miss one day is not such a big problem (I menan, I could get ill in december!), but to miss this two (important) day... I don't know!
Let's see:)!
Have a nice (and cold like here) weekend. Today, -even I know I will go to hell for it- I will drink Glühwein because the circumstances are too good for it.
Jamas!
