Geia sas koritsia!!!

When I'm not looking for 2 days, so many things are happening... It's great that you'll come to Vienna! I can offer a real comfortable couch for 2 people. After my exam on Tuesday I'll write more (the topic is so boring, boring, boring and I didn't really start learning by now), because right now I'm a little bit stressed.

Filakia, Jutta

Bravissimo!

Fantastic! I am really looking forward now to come to you all :)!
Yesterday (I was on a goodbye-party of a friend who goes now for 1 year to Granada...jealous!) a friend told, that perhaps we have a seminary at the beginning of december. But ... ti na kanoume, the tickets are bought, and ... you have to give priorities to something!

And: yeah, I will arrive at the 3rd, sorry, but earlier was not possible!

Now I am invited to my aunt, we will make a big family-welcome-back-Yvonni-meeting, with punch and everything. Yesterday I had already a lot to drink. Everything like in Thessaloniki:)!

Have a WOOOOOONDERFUL weekend!

anna is coming!!

hey, I just talked to Anna and told her about the meeting in Vienna and about the plan to go to Helsinki in January and it seems like she'll come to Austria as well!! Cool, hm?

YVONNI!!

hey girl!! this is cool!!!! you are really coming!!! jipiiiieee!!
But I don't really understand... you are leaving germany on the 2nd and arrive on the 3rd in the morning? right?
Cool!!!

And besides... I have also been shopping today! *g* Also without money but with creditcard... not the best idea, I guess..
But what can you do? SALE!!!! *g*
No I have 3 trousers and 2 t-shirts more! As if I didn't have enough before! Whatever!

Cool that you're comin'!!
I'll try to call Anna tonight and tell her about our great plans. Would be great if she could come as well!

Filakia!

ELENI!!

ok, I called the trainstation and it is like this...
the train Frankfurt - Vienna on the 1th december would leave at 22.47 and arrive at 8.52 in Vienna.
the train Vienna - Frankfurt on the 7th december would leave at 20.28 and arrive at 6.02 in Frankfurt.
Is this ok? Also with the dates?
Each ticket is 29 Euro and 3 Euro to send the ticket to Finnland.
So all together 61 Euros.
The tickets can only be bought with a credit card. So if you want, you can send me an e-mail with your cardnumber and when it expires and so on. Or if you don't have a creditcard I can also just buy it with my one. As you like.

Just tell me, what I shall do. ;-)

Filakia

Shopping-Yvonni is back!

Hähä, great, I mean, I don't have any job in the moment and this morning I just destroyed the battery of the car of my aunt, but I just bought tickets for the night train from Dortmund to Vienna!
I will leave Germany on the second (arrival 9h in the morning in Vienna Westbahnhof) and I will leave Austria on the 7th (departure, I think, at 8h in the evening!).

So, but now I think I spent enough money, even everything is really cheap (both ways with the train for 29€), but ...no money!!!
Huaaarrr!
But I am still happy and I am looking forward to visit you all!

gelitsaki mou

It would be great if you could ask about the timetables of those trains (I would come from Frankfurt) and make sure about the prices. Yesterday when I checked some flights, the cheapest ones were on 1st and on 8th of Dec. So, could you ask the trains of those days? if the trains are ok, I would be in Austria 2.-7.12, is it ok?

Thanks

trains germany-vienna

hey girls... it's soooo cool that you wanna come here in december!!
So I found something which could be really interesting. There are special offers for trains from germany to vienna. the trains are starting from Frankfurt, Köln, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Hannover, Hamburg and Berlin. The are going by night and cost only 29Euros. I took this train from Berlin to Vienna 2 weeks ago and it was really ok. But there is only a special numer of tickets and I guss it would be the best to check it pretty soon!
If you want I can make a phonecall for you from Austria to check if there are still tickets available. For Eleni it could be difficult otherwise... because the homepage is only in german...
for the rest... www.oebb.at

Because of Helsinki I still don't know if I'll have an exam at that time! It's really shit!!! I fear I have to book later when I know more about the exams!! BUT I WANT TO COME!!!!!!! would be really cool!!!!

Filakia

great, Yvonne!

Cool to know that you are coming! Geli, Jutta and Anna, you should also come!!!

I'm coming

Okay, I just booked my flights to Helsinki from 14th till19th of January. I hope it's okay! Germanwings has a special night again tonight!!! So I paid for the flight to Helsinki 26 and back 5 Euros. Ok, taxes were not included, but still I think it's quite cheap. For Vienna I will check tomorrow at the railway station. but otherwise I take the more expensive on. I don't think that I have special dates yet for the beginning of december!

Wish you a nice evening (I will have one now for sure!!!)

Yvonni

I like the picture, Yvonny!!!

*gg*

COME, COME, COME!!!!

Would be really cool if you could all come here for a bit of Vienna Christams feeling!!! For me everything after the 20th of November is ok, because then my big exam is over (at least I hope so). So 2 th till 7 th would be perfect!!!!!!
Would be cool if Anna could also come... because as we all maybe know she has her birthday on the 3th! So would be really nice!!!
And january Helsinki? Sounds cool! But I have to check when my exams in January are! Hope it could work out!!!

Filakia pola!

come to me

Yvonne, of course you are very welcome to Helsinki! But if you want, you could all come! Would be nice. I will be here at that time (12-19.1) for sure so you can already book your tickets. I don't know how much the tickets from Austria to here cost (from Finland to Austria they are expensive) but anyway!

I checked German Wings, Ryanair and STAtravel and my return tickets to Austria would cost more than 200 euros. But, maybe you can help me: how much would it cost by train from Frankfurt to Vienna? I have to find a super cheap way to come there, cos I promised to visit a friend of mine in Oslo during this autumn and for new years eve I'll go to Prague. money, money, money...

Ok now I have to study sth. I slept till 1 today and this wriring to you is the only useful thing i've done today.

Sorry, but URGENT!

So, I checked -only because I was a bit bored...- the night trains from Münster to Vienna in December and I think we have to decide pretty soon, when we wanna meet. I mean, I come for sure :)! (I hope I am welcome...!)
So, Geli & Jutta: when would it be the best? I checked for the weekend Helena suggested (02. till 07., because on the other days there were already no tickets left. It is also possible that these were only the online tickets. I will ask at the railway station!).
But anyway we should decide.

On the other hand: germanwings has really cheap flights in the beginning of january (12. till 19.) to Helsinki. It doesn't matter, if we meet in Vienna (but I hope so!!!) or not, but: Helena, can I come? The flights are between 16 and 26 Euros!!!

So, have a busy day tomorrow,
tell me soon, please,
Yvonne

Hi

I'm happy for you, Yvonne! I understand, you must be feeling reliefed. And I believe that boys can be really nice as flatmates, at least they are not complaining about everything. I also hate to play a role of a nice girl (in a real life I'm a monster!) who is saying stupid compliments, and also: everything is ok for me, I don't mind about anything, plaaplaaplaa...

And Hello Jutta, it's nice to have you here! Hope everything ended well in Germany, also with your Greek teacher, you haven't told anything about it. I wanna hear!!! How is your uni in Austria? I chose too many classes to follow and already now i start to skip my lessons. Right now i should be in a class of Basics of food technology. But it was too easy and the professor was telling things that are obvious so I decided to go out from the class room. This is academic freedom, something that I didn't have in Greece and now I'm taking all out of it... And it's much more important to write to you, isn't it? :)

The idea of meeting before christmas sounds great! And in Vienna it would be nice! Would it be ok to spend a long weekend together, or what have you planned? How about for example 3.-6.12?

ta leme, koritsia :)

I have a flat!

Okay, you think, it is easy to find in Münster, hä? Wrong, wrong, wrong! Especially now that all the first years have their confirmation for Münster.

But finally I found a room on Sunday, and...in one of the student residences! :)! Funny, isn't it? But it is not like in Thessaloniki, I share a flat with 3 other people, two guys who I meet already on Sunday and one other new girl. I don't know her yet. But the guys are really nice, a bit strange, but funny and I think I will really like it.

The problem with Annika was that it is nearly impossible to find a flat for two people in the moment, which is not too expensive (the rents in Münster are horrible in the moment, I don't think so that it was like this before!) and not to far away. I meet Annika yesterday and told her about my success and she understood it. She was not really happy, but ti na kanoume? Tipota, nomizo!

But now, my selfconfidence is back and I feel much better because this flat problem was really getting on my nerves, after 1 week searching...! The problem is you have to sell yourself and that was really horrible. "Hi! I'm Yvonne! Wow, this flat is so great! Incredible! And you are such nice people...!" I mean, I never did it like that, but other girls...!

So, now I can say "Good bye" to Jutta, when you are leaving my lovely country:)! But we will see us soon! I checked the prices for the trains and the German train company also offers trains for 29€ in a night train! So: I will come soon!!!

And Geli: I think it will be difficult to speak with Henri away from Greece, Austria and Belgium, or? I am really sorry for you! Do it like Jutta and buy a bottle of Tequila!

To my shame I have to say that I drunk with a friend yesterday a bottle of wine and it was enough for me. And today we wanted to go out, but I am absolutly not in the mood for it. I prefer it to go home and stay again an evening in front of the television. Huaaarrr! Something is wrong with me!

Ta leme :))))

I'm here!!!

Hello girls!

After an evening with too much alcohol (Tequila wasn't the best idea obviously - popo), I thought it would be a great idea to say "hi" to you all *g*!!! Now I'm also a member of your cool page.

Friday I had my last day at work and in the end I was kind of sad, because even if the work wasn't too interesting, the people there were very nice. So it's my last weekend in Germany, on Tuesday my sister will come to pick me up with the car and Thursday I'll be back in good old Austria. Of course I will miss a certain Greek teacher from here but I'm looking forward to Geli's Greek boys of course!!!

@ Ybonnh: I can't imagine that somebody doesn't like you, must be the fault of these people, so don't lose your self-confidence.

Ok that's it from me, I have to meet with a strange guy now who I helped when he had troubles with his bike. It's nice that he wants to thank me, but he already told me things like: I split up with my girlfriend, now I have to search for an other one...I'm a little bit afraid.

christmasmarket sounds gooooood!!!!!!

I completely forgot about the Christmas market thing!! That’s really a good idea... this thing is starting already on the 13th of November, but I thing end of Nov or beginning of Dez would be the best, what do you think? I mean in November nobody is already in Christmas-mood, isn't it? The last day is the 23rd of Dez. But I guess for Christmas-eve everybody will be back home anyway...
Cool, cool, cool!!! This is gonna be fun!!

Yea,.. about the boy... you are right, I should and I also really want to speak to him again.. The best would be to have some days for our own... away from Greece, Austria, Belgium, family and friends... just us two.. to see what's going on and to talk a bit...
And besides.. it wasn't me who started to see some things as big problems and to question all of this relation... I'm only starting to do it now a bit... after hours of discussion....
Well, we'll see... anyway, I want to meet him again and to find a way which is ok for us both...
That’s at least the plan.. ;-)

But Yvonny, why don't you just search for a flat together with Annika? Just a small one for you two... Can't you do this also now?
Good luck anyway!!!

Filakia!

Yeah, yeah, let's meet!

Hey Girls!

It's true...where is Anna?
I spoke with Jutta last week, when I came back! I would call you, too, but number!?! And is it okay to write it down here, where everybody can read it? Send me a mail! In the moment I'm still at home...so, my parents will pay the calls :)!
I haven't found a flat yet. My dilemma is that I would like to find a room soon and on the other hand I would like to share a flat with Annika. Problem: Now the first years are coming to Münster and Münster has always a small problems with flats so it is already a big battle now about the flats. Horrible, I can tell you. I had a look to some rooms, but mostly I didn't like the people or the people didn't like me (which is not good for my selfconfidence!). But let's see, I just started to search.

And then I really wanna work something, I go mad here at home, most of my friends are somewhere else (Münster, holidays, practical training, excursion or they just have to work), so I get a bit bored. Not so bad, because I find a lot of things to do, especially in the first days I was back, but now...

I'm sorry for you, Geli! For sure it will be difficult with Henri, but are you sure you want to stop your relationship with him? I mean you should decide, and I think you should speak with Henri (again), because to have something in the middle, I think, is the worst! Otherwise it could destroy you if you never know if Yes or No!

I like the idea of a meeting. For sure I know that I will come to Vienna for the Christmas Market. I already spoke with Jutta about it!We all could meet then there, but for me it would be also okay to meet to another time, too. In Münster you are always welcome, even I have no home yet. I think or I hope that this changes till November or December! Or we could meet somewhere totally else. I always wanted to go to Stockholm. And there are so many Swedish people........:)!

Have a nice weekend,
ta leme

lyrics page is great!!!

Thanks yvonni!
... but shit, I'm really not used to ready or even sing (!!) greek letters! embarrassing!!

forget the title...

so, back again...
yesterday morning - after a 12 hours train trip (memories of Konstantinopoli!!!) - I arrived finally in vienna.
I'm glad that I have at least one weekend for me now. After that the stress is starting siga, siga... I have to go to university, checking things like what my university accepts from the stuff I did in Greece (congratulations, Eleni!! I still have to see if I can do something with my greek certificate from the language class). And after that university is also starting already...
Besides I applied for a job in a law office now during the year.. for 10 hours a week or something like that.
So... organising, organising, organising!

Whatever... Well, yea, the last 2 weeks were a bit strange..
The week when Henri visited me in Vienna everything was really nice but then siga, siga, you could feel that something was not ok any more... in fact I don't really know what the problem is... maybe the distance, maybe the difference in the language (but I don't think so!), maybe the feelings,... or from everything a bit...
we had lot's of talks and discussions in the last time...
Now we are both back home.. and in a way I still don't know what's going on..
For sure, we still like each other a lot... but is this enough for a long-distance-relationship?? We'll see... By now we don't know when we'll gonna see each other again and if...
Sometimes I would like to take the next plane to kavala to know it at least for sure... YES or NO... and not a thing in between...
But you can't always have what you want, can you? OXI.
So I'm living my life again in Vienna... and only my mind is making trips to Greece and back...
tha doume...

I'm happy to hear that everything is ok with you... but has anybody heard anything about Annulla? Where is this girl?
A N N A, P U I S S E ??!! ;-)
instead I got a e-mail from Jutta these days... was really nice... and I guess she'll like it, when she hears about the tow greek boys who'll come to Vienna for Erasmus in October and I have to take care about them *g* ... don't you? ;-)

Another thing... what about making our own little Erasmus-meeting? not now, directly, but I don't know... in some time... November? December?
Just some town... in the middle... maybe Germany? ;-) At least Germany has the cheapest flights to go there.... from Vienna and from Helsinki! Think about it! Would love to do this some time or another!

Greek Lyrics

I have no time to write a big story, but:

I found a page where you can find a lot of Greek lyrics, I downloaded already Michalis Chatzigiannis:)!
Here you are: http://www.geocities.com/gr_lyrics/
It is a good side, even everything is written in Greek, stixoi are -obviously- lyrics!
Have a nice weekend!

this is a title

HEllooooo!

Helsinki is great, and my new flat is even better! Yesterday I painted the walls with the funny caretaker of our house and now I can finally start to fix my things to where they belong. cool!

Yesterday late at night I drove that Toyota Hiace, that we used for moving my furniture, to my hometown. I was a bit afraid of driving it because I have never driven any car in Helsinki, but it went well! And it was funny, on highways there were only me+my Hiace and MANY truck drivers :) For 4 hours I was singing (loud!) stupid songs in the car cos the radio was kind of broken...

Jarno, the guy I told u about (the festival guy + the guy from my uni) was helping me A LOT with moving my things. so we have met every day this week. He is a great guy and we have great time together. After Erasmus I haven't laughed as much as with him. He likes me and I start to like him more and more. but, siga siga. we'll see.

Geli, Im also curious to hear about Henri! Whatever the situation is with him I hope that both of you think that it's ok the way it is now.

Yesterday I was on a greek course at uni. It was great to realize that I'm not the worst in the course cos it's a beginners class :) But the teacher corrected every time my pronounsiation (I will get grazy with stresses, I never know how to say them!!!) Anyway, the course is just learning the alphabetics, so I think I won't go there for some weeks. And, good news: I will get credits from school of modern greek-course! haa!

Now I will go out and play with my niece before she brakes the whole house. After some hours I will travel back to Helsinki. 4 hours in a car again, argh!

When will you come to visit me? I miss the great times we had! sniif... I just developed 198 photos that i burned from Geli. By the way, can either Geli or Yvonne burn me a cd of our Peloponnessos trip? As you maybe remember, the battery of my camera was dead almost the whole trip :( I could burn you a cd of Rasmus that I just bought. It's from the year 1997 and the music is much better that nowadays!

Have a nice weekend!!

I hate these "Titles"!

Hey Girlies!

Yeah, yeah, now I have time, to try again. This morning I drove my brother to his new school (he becomes a landscape gardener...?) and finally we found out that there was no school for him today so he had to stay the whole day in the class of the cemetery gardeners(?), while I had to go shopping in Muenster, what means that I stayed 1 hour at H&M, spent a lot of money (but so nice stuff and in my size!!!) and tried to find a job to get a bit money (which was a bit unsuccessful), ah, and I went to the hairdresser. Now it is so short like before my erasmus, that means: mega short, I didn't want it like that!

So, some words to my last days(I don't want to write tooo much!):
Lesvos was really nice, except my horrible allergy, Kostas is a really great man and I think, it was the best I could do to stay there for such a long time.
The Olympics were amazing. I tried to meet Angel, but unfortunatly unsuccessful, we saw everyday another sport, because it was so cheap and there were always plenty of tickets left. We saw also people from my university.
Chalkidiki at the end was quite nice, but I was a bit annoyed of beach and especially sun, so I went a lot of times snorkeling or for a walk along the sea. One day I could convince the rest to rent a car to drive to Sithonia and it was really a good idea! But finally I was really happy to come home, see my family and my friends again (I still haven't seen all of them!).

Small story at the end:
Today I went to a CD shop (while I had to wait for my brother) and I saw a CD "The No.1 Hit from Greece: Notis with Opa Opa" and in the Charts at No. 80: Despina Vandi with a cover of Opa Opa. Damned, I missed this song in Greece. I listened immediatly to this song and now I will search for it in the internet. I send it if I find it!
No. 3 in Germany is a song (translated): Is the wood-Michael still alive? It is a folksong (Volksmusik), but so funny, because so bad! Ah, and I will send you another song (but in German), that they played in the radio during the Olympics. Also fantastic!

But Geli: Everything is finally alright with Henri? I hope so, would be too sad if not!
Eleni: How is it to live in Helsinki again? I will also start now to search for a new flat. Annika was not really successful. And what is going on with this festival guy???

Filakia apo tin Germania!

DEUTSCHLAND GRÜßT!

hi girls!
what's going on?
as you maybe remember I've been to Belgium the last week. that's why I haven't been here on this page. The trip was definitly different than expected but still ok.. Family, nature, a lot of food and a bit of culture... and a bit difficult times with the belgium boy. But ti na kanoume?

anyway, now I'm in Berlin - visiting a friend from Vienna who was making Erasmus here and clearing my mind.. - really nice. In fact I've been walking this afternoon through the streets listening to Jorgoa Masonakis. *g*
The city itself is not really beautiful. Lots of dirt, strange looking people and simply too big for me... but on the other hand it has also got it's own charme in a way....
On friday I'm gonna go back home to Vienna and finally really stay there. No more travelling.
It's crazy but in a way I really like the thought to stay there now for some time and to start to study again and to life my normal studying life. Boring, isn't it? ;-)

Eleni, I agree... I'm also not really in the mood to see the big Vasilissis family again so soon.

Yvonny, please try it again! I would love to hear about your last weeks in beautiful and beloved hellas!!!

Here you soon... from back home...
Kisses!

Aaaaargh!

Hey girls!

I wrote a looooong message with some many emotions and thoughts...(ähem, ... more or less), but unfortunatly they didn't want to publish it! So: aaaargh!

Now I have to go shopping cause I really need a new mobile and in Ahlen the shops close early!

But later I send you something again, ok? Perhaps somebody is online in 2 hours...? Hope so!

Mega-big hugs...
Yvonne
