By now I don't know, how much salary I will get, but I just found a flight Sundsvall - Tampere and back for 270 Euro all-inc. that's not too bad, ok for a weekend it's a lot, but right now I would have enough money (don't ask me what'll be in one month *g*).
And I found out, that the ferry Vaasa-Sundsvall only goes on Friday and the other direction on Saturday, therefore - useless!!!
More searching tomorrow, now I should go back to work.
Bye bye, Jutta

Unfortunately my swedish is not so good (ok, by now I didn't learn anything, too much to do), but I found in the internet, that there will be a ferry, but it starts on the 26th of June.
<Finska RG Line planerar att starta en färjelinje mellan Sundsvall och Vaasa i sommar. Linjen kommer att trafikeras av kombifärjan Kahleberg med plats för c:a 300 passagerare>
<2005 06 26 - 2005 08 06. En tur i veckan mellan Vasa - Sundsvall>
So probably it would be better to go to Turku, if there doesn't exist a bus from Vaasa to your place. I really don't mind travelling, I just want to spend a good time with you :-)
The only problem is going back, because if I have to work on Monday (what I suppose), it's impossible to arrive in Stockholm on Monday morning, so probably hitch-hiking to Vaasa???

Ok, Jutti, I tried to find out sth about the ferries but I don't know how well I succeeded... I didn't find any ferry from sundsvall. I only found ferries from umeå and stockholm. You can check them out yourself, umeå-vasa ferry is www.rgline.com and stockholm-turku/helsinki are www.silja.fi and www.vikingline.fi. It should take 3 hours to go from sundsvall to umeå, and the ferry from there to vasa is 5 hours (24.6: 13.00-18.00, 25.6 no ferries). The biggest problem is that there are no buses going from vaasa to pori (which is a town closest to our summer place). But I will ask if i can borrow my parents' car to pick you up, if we can't fix anything else. If you choose a ferry from stockholm it would be wiser to go to turku. the trip takes the whole night. If you want to check the timetables of finnish buses, here's the address: www.matkahuolto.fi.
I spent a small holiday in Tallinn with Jarno. We were there for two days and it was really nice. We just came home last night. Noe I'm super hungry and will go to uni for lunch. bye girls!
